To believe
"Our young people need the very best opportunities to achieve their full potential. As a strategist and a teacher I must enable, nurture, and most importantly, release, to allow the use of ICT to be owned not by the leader but by the creator. ICT is essential but is only a commodity. Although it sometimes seems that technology changes our lives and our society, the power of choice is still with us, and it is the technology that provides us with tools for the new work. The richness of our cultures, our visions and experiences, our knowledge and ability give us the foundation of the skills and wisdom we need to pass on. The focus should not be on the technology but on the people using it. Excellence in ICT provision is about their needs, their purpose, and their ability to work together in community and partnership for the future."
