Kevin Lester is Senior Head of House at Island School in Hong Kong. This role involves monitoring and supporting student academic progress. He promotes Adobe® Acrobat® Portfolio tools to encourage student self-reflection.
Lester is also cocreator of the IE Awards, an information and communications technology qualification accredited by the Cambridge International Examination Board. The course he developed aims to encourage students to have a more independent approach to learning while working on projects that serve their community. Currently there are more than 400 students taking the course. Acrobat Portfolio is an essential tool for the students taking the course to enable them to work and learn in this way.
Students can also vie in a local competition known as Learning without Frontiers to work on a brief and develop a solution for a client that the organization or business can later use for real-world purposes.
