Lee Keller works for The Education Network, the Palm Beach School District’s television network. His primary responsibilities involve distance learning, digital education, and staff development, but he is essentially charged with bringing the school district’s television concept to the Internet. He continues to support administrators, staff, teachers, and students at more than 170 district schools on an array of technology projects and software including Adobe® Presenter and Adobe Connect™. He also administers the district’s Blackboard Learning System used for online staff development and trains instructors how to use Adobe software — including Adobe Presenter, Dreamweaver®, and Captivate® — to optimize instruction.
An educator since the mid-1970s, with more than 19 years in the classroom, Keller has taught everyone from first graders to college seniors. He founded the PC Rams, a West Palm Beach computer club. In 1999, he drove his school district’s evaluation of web design products, a process that led the district to standardize on Macromedia® software. He designed and delivered training in various Macromedia products and, in 2001, created the district’s first online technology courses using the Macromedia suite.
Keller's major projects include training school principals, developing a content library of Adobe Presenter programs, and working on communication projects with the school district’s International Spanish Academy.
