Linda Ferguson is an intermediate teacher and technology consultant at Albert Schweitzer School in California’s San Juan Unified School District, as well as a technology leadership team member for the Sacramento County Office of Education. Focusing on the power of collaboration, she creates and deploys innovative digital courses and interactive learning resources for staff and students. She is also dedicated to training and supporting teachers so they can continually integrate new skills with their evolving curriculum. Her software expertise, in and out of the classroom, includes Adobe® InDesign®, Illustrator®, GoLive®, Photoshop®, Acrobat®, Acrobat Elements, Dreamweaver®, and Flash® and Apple iLife.
For her Master's degree, Ferguson helped create the Geo-Literacy Project; her doctoral degree involves developing practical methods for teaching students to create purposeful online projects.
Ferguson authored "Project-Based Learning: An Integral Approach" and has coproduced TechSETS for the state of California as well as Adobe Youth Voices sites. She also consults, trains, and presents workshops (at events such as the National Education Consulting Conference) across the United States on the use of digital media, web design, and handheld devices in the classroom.
