Phil is a trainer, developer and consultant on e-learning and educational technologies for a large group of UK schools spanning the private and public sector. Phil is dedicated to supporting educators as they leverage new technologies to enhance classroom practice, including interactive whiteboards, learner response systems and virtual learning platforms, all of which he has contributed substantially to the content, structure and visual design of commercial training materials. He supports schools at all levels, from the individual teacher’s classroom practice through to whole school ICT strategy.
Phil has over a decade of teaching experience as an English specialist, having held senior posts including Director of eLearning. During this time, Phil was also responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of websites for educational institutions and designed various in-house publications and productions.
As a passionate advocate of creative design and digital media, Phil’s principal project in the last couple of years has been the creation and delivery of a suite of versatile training courses for staff and students on Adobe Creative Suite applications, always with the ethos and aim of investing confidence, delivering transferrable knowledge and developing key skills to encourage and widen the use of the software in the classroom by non-specialists.
