Tanisha Bronaugh is a digital photography and imaging teacher and technical skills attainment coordinator for the Graphic Communications and Printing department at Crockett Career and Technical Center High School. She received her Bachelor's of Fine Art in Graphic Design and Photography from the University of Michigan and her Master's of Education in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University.
With ten years of experience as a classroom teacher, she understands how important it is for young people to acquire the technical skills needed to compete in a global market. Bronaugh serves her students by delivering creative content with a curriculum fueled by Adobe® Creative Suite® software. Students learn to apply Adobe software applications to solve real-world problems, allowing them to facilitate their own learning and achieve greater skill transference.
Her students’ work is displayed in various competitions, online galleries, and art museums, including the Detroit Institute of Arts and the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
