ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Andrew McAllister is the manager of academic computing at OCAD University, a visual artist, and a musician. For over a decade, McAllister has strived to make human-computer interactions more intuitive and user centered. As manager of academic computing, McAllister currently manages the creative computing environment at OCAD University, from student and faculty computing to leading innovative web development. As a practicing artist, McAllister creates video, audio, interactive, and photographic works, some of which have been funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council, and shown in Prague, London, Chicago, Netherlands, and Toronto.
