ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Education, English and Fine Arts, Bob Rigel began his career as a teacher and then as a fine artist selling drawings, lithographs, and serigraphs to Colorado galleries. An early adopter of the Macintosh computer, Rigel worked as a graphic designer, illustrator, digital imaging artist, and print design specialist.
He joined the Academy of Art University in 1998. He was one of the first participants in Adobe's ACE program for Adobe® InDesign®. He participated in beta testing for InDesign and the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite solution. His experience in education and curriculum design has opened opportunities for collaborative courses between several schools within the university and established a pattern for future growth in interactive curriculum design and development in the unique New Media program at the school.
