ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Elizabeth Elsas Mandel received her BA in art history from Harvard University and her MFA in graphic design from Yale University. Before becoming professor of graphic design at SCAD-Atlanta, she taught at SUNY-Purchase, Parsons School of Design, Creative Circus, and Georgia State. She has received design awards from the AIGA, Print Magazine, and the Association of American University Presses, and her writing has been published in Trace: AIGA Journal of Design. Her professional clients have included the Museum of Modern Art, The Woodruff Arts Center, Atlanta Art Now, Beacon Press, and the Minnesota University Press, and her letterpress wedding invitations are sold at bellafigura.com.
