This paper presents a framework for the re-emergence of eLearning as a set of teaching, training, and learning practices not bound by a specific technological platform or learning management system.
Students have the technology. They experience the world through multimedia and want to communicate in the same way. We can prepare them to communicate effectively by teaching them the whole communication process from planning the message all the way to testing for usability.
From May to June, 2005, Macromedia and Certiport conducted a research study in North America, Britain, and Australia to learn about views on digital communication at work and in education institutions. The survey results from over 3,000 employers, educators, and students indicate that communication with technology improves success in school and work.
