Michelle Wild
Michelle Wild is a professor at Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley, California. She teaches classroom, cable television, and online computer courses in multimedia, Web page design, the Internet, and computer applications. She also teaches learning and study skills courses. Michelle has been involved in several three-year federal grants (FIPSE) as a co-director and instructional designer. She has also written and directed several California State Chancellor's Office grants related to technology, including a VTEA grant to create a state-approved online webmaster vocational certificate program. Michelle was named the 2000 Orange County Community College Teacher of the Year and in 2001 received the David R. Pierce Faculty Technology award sponsored by Microsoft Corporation and the American Association of Community Colleges.
Jan Heck
Jan Heck is an instructional designer, a project coordinator/director, and a community college instructor in instructional design, learning theory, expert learning and study strategies, and computers (particularly Web page design). She has been involved in several three-year federal grants (FIPSE) as co-director, coordinator, instructional designer, multimedia programmer, and Web page designer. Jan received the 2001 Instructional Telecommunications Council Award for Excellence in Institutional Leadership. Jan holds a master’s degree in instructional and performance technology from Boise State University.
