Install Extension Manager CS5.5

Extension Manager CS5.5 includes support for the new Bridge CS5.1, Contribute CS5.1, Dreamweaver CS5.5, Fireworks CS5.1, Flash CS5.5, Illustrator CS5.1, InCopy CS5.5, InDesign CS5.5, Photoshop CS5.1, and Premiere Pro CS5.5 releases.

Extension Manager CS5.5 will be available soon in Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, Finnish, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Ukranian

System Requirements

The Extension Manager CS5.5 requires Mac OS X v10.5.8 or v10.6 or Windows XP with Service Pack 3; Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Enterprise with Service Pack 2; Windows 7 Enterprise, Ultimate with 1GB of RAM, 1,024x768 display with 16-bit video card, and at least one of the following products:

  • Contribute CS5.1
  • Dreamweaver CS5.5
  • Fireworks CS5.1
  • Flash Professional CS5.5
  • Illustrator CS5.1
  • InCopy CS5.5
  • InDesign CS5.5
  • Photoshop CS5.1
  • Premiere Pro CS5.5

Prior Versions

Bridge CS5,Contribute CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, Fireworks CS5, Flash CS5, Illustrator CS5, InCopy CS5, InDesign CS5, Photoshop CS5 and Premiere Pro CS5 use Extension Manager 5.0.

Bridge CS4, Contribute CS4, Dreamweaver CS4, Fireworks CS4, Flash CS4, Illustrator CS4, InCopy CS4, InDesign CS4, and Photoshop CS4 use Extension Manager 2.0 or 2.1.

Dreamweaver CS3, Fireworks CS3 and Flash CS3 use Extension Manager 1.8.

Dreamweaver 8, Fireworks 8 and Flash 8 use Extension Manager 1.7.

Dreamweaver MX and Flash MX use Extension Manager 1.6.

Dreamweaver 4, Dreamweaver UltraDev 4, and Flash 5 use Extension Manager 1.5.

How to use the Extension Manager CS5.5

  1. Download the Extension Manager CS5.5

  2. Return to Adobe.com to Download Extensions

    • Once you have the Adobe Extension Manager installed, return to the Adobe Exchange and download extensions from product's Exchange webpage.

    • Each extension has its own page that includes the download links, a short description, user ratings and reviews, and a link to the respective online discussion forum where you can post questions and get support for that extension.

    • Once the Extension Manager CS5.5 is installed, you can access it directly from the supported product menus by choosing Help > Manage Extensions or by launching the Extension Manager CS5.5 directly.
