I am unable to see images within HTML newsletter.

Chances are, your email administrator (or software vendor) has configured your email client to block image downloads from the Internet. If you would like to view images contained within the Edge HTML newsletter, we recommend that you add direct@adobesystems.com to your address book.  Additionally, you can contact your email administrator or refer to your email client’s help system to see how to unblock images.

 

Why am I being asked to download Flash Player?

Flash Player is free software that lets you view web content created by Flash. The Edge newsletter often includes Flash content and the Edge team is often utilizing features that are only supported with the latest version of Flash Player. Many web browsers (Internet Explorer, for example) install Flash Player automatically, but you may need to upgrade it from time to time as Adobe makes improvements to the player and as websites update content and utilize the capabilities of Flash and Flash Player.

To ensure you experience the Edge as intended, we recommend that you download and install the latest version of Flash Player. If you have additional questions regarding Flash Player, please visit the Flash Player Support FAQ.

 

I would like the Edge sent to a new or different email address.

  1. Go to Adobe.com.
  2. At the top of the page, on the right side, click "Your Account" and sign in.
  3. Click "Edit Your Account Information."
  4. Next to Email Address, click "Change." Follow the prompts.

 

How do I subscribe to the Edge?

From the Edge newsletter;

  1. Click subscribe (top navigation) and follow the prompts.

From any page on adobe.com.

  1. At the top of the page, on the right side, click "Your Account" and sign in.
  2. Click "Change Communication Preferences."
  3. Check the box next to "I would like to subscribe to the Adobe Edge newsletter.
  4. Click Update (bottom of the page).

 

In what format is the Edge offered?

By default, we send an HTML email to your email address, which leads you to the Edge online. However, if we detect that you cannot receive HTML email, we automatically send a text version of the email, which will link to the Edge online. At this time, we do not offer the option to receive the Edge in text format.

 

I subscribe to the Edge, but have not received it.

There could be a couple reasons for this. Upon the Adobe acquisition of Macromedia, we lost a fair amount of subscribers due to data migration and differing privacy policies. Adobe's privacy policy requires that you sign up to "receive communications relating to Adobe, its products and services, etc." Whereas Macromedia only required that you had an account with Macromedia, and that you elected to receive the Edge.

To receive the Edge newsletter, please

  1. Go to Adobe.com.
  2. At the top of the page, on the right side, click "Your Account" and sign in.
  3. Click "Change Communication Preferences."
  4. Check the Email box under "Yes! I would like to receive communications relating to..."
  5. On the same page, check the box next to "I would like to subscribe to the Adobe Edge newsletter."
  6. Click Update (bottom of the page).

 

Do you offer non-English versions of the Edge?

Not at this time, but we're always open to suggestion. So, if you'd like the Edge localized in a language other than English, please send feedback.
