Find the serial number for a single-user boxed product

The serial number for a single-user, shrink-wrapped Adobe product is located on the back cover of the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM jewel case, or on a sticker on the CD/DVD sleeve.

If you registered online, then you can also find your serial number in your Adobe membership account.

Note: Older registrations of Macromedia branded products may not appear in your Adobe membership account.

Find the serial number for a single-user download product

The serial number for a single-user Adobe branded product purchased and downloaded from the Adobe Store is located in your order confirmation e-mail and in your Adobe account.

In your Adobe account, click the View Order History link and then the Your Downloads link. The serial number is located on the Download screen next to the download link.

Find the serial number for a volume license or server product

The serial number or PAC code for a volume license or server product is located on the Licensing Account page of the Licensing website at http://licensing.adobe.com. Login information is sent to the contact person on your account.

You still cannot find your serial number

If you cannot locate your serial number, then contact Adobe Customer Service with your name, address, and company name (if applicable) to check for your registration in our customer database.

Additional information

If your product installer returns an invalid serial number error during installation or registration, then please see "Serial number not accepted" (ServiceNote tn_15282).
