Defense Connect Online (DCO) – Collaboration for the DoD

Carahsoft and Adobe, provide Department of Defense (DoD) users worldwide with a suite of collaboration tools free of charge on both NIPR and SIPR. DCO provides web conferencing, virtual meetings, and chat services that can be access instantly virtually anywhere. DCO is comprised of three main components: the DCO portal, Adobe Connect for web conferencing, and the DCO XMPP chat client for presence and awareness.

Registration steps:


  1. With your CAC in your system's card reader, navigate to and follow the browser prompts to enter your CAC pin.
  2. Click the Register link.
  3. Fill in the fields that are editable for your registration profile. Note: Certain fields are pulled directly from your CAC and are not editable.


  1. If you have access to SIPR, navigate to Note: DCO (S) is username and password based.
  2. Click the Register link.
  3. Fill in all fields for your registration profile.
