What is Adobe Inspire Magazine?

Adobe Inspire Magazine is a free magazine that contains original content geared toward informing, enlightening, and inspiring designers and developers. Created and published by Adobe Systems, Inspire is published every eight weeks and is available in English only. (Prior to September 2011, Inspire Magazine was called the Edge newsletter.)

In what formats is Adobe Inspire Magazine offered?

Inspire Magazine is available for free on Adobe.com and via the Apple App Store for iPad devices. When you subscribe to Inspire on Adobe.com, you will receive an e-mail newsletter (see sample) approximately every eight weeks notifying you that a new issue is available.

How do I subscribe to the Adobe Inspire e-mail newsletter?

On any page of the Adobe Inspire website, click "Subscribe" (in the top navigation links) and follow the prompts.

From any page on Adobe.com:

  1. At the top of the page, on the right side, click "Sign in" and enter your login credentials.
  2. Click "My preferences".
  3. Under "My content subscriptions", check the box next to "I would like to subscribe to Adobe Inspire Magazine."
  4. Click Update (bottom of the page).
Why haven't I received the Inspire e-mail newsletter yet?

There could be a few reasons for this:

  • It is possible that a new issue has not been published since you signed up. We publish a new issue (and send out the Inspire e-mail newsletter) every eight weeks.
  • The Inspire e-mail newsletter may have been caught in a spam filter. To ensure future delivery of the Inspire e-mail newsletter, please add email@mail.adobesystems.com to your address book, contacts, or safe sender list.
  • If you have not clicked on an issue of the Inspire e-mail newsletter during the last 12 months, you will automatically be unsubscribed from the newsletter.

To receive the Inspire e-mail newsletter:

  1. Go to Adobe.com.
  2. At the top of the page, on the right side, click "Sign in" and enter your login credentials.
  3. Click "My preferences".
  4. Under "My content subscriptions", check the box next to "I would like to subscribe to Adobe Inspire Magazine."
  5. Click Update (bottom of the page).

How can I get the Inspire e-mail newsletter sent to a new or different address?
  1. Go to Adobe.com.
  2. At the top of the page, on the right side, click "Sign in" and enter your login credentials.
  3. Click "My information."
  4. Under My Adobe ID, enter your new Adobe ID (e-mail address) and click "Save my changes."
How do I unsubscribe from the Inspire e-mail newsletter?

In any Inspire e-mail newsletter, click "unsubscribe" (at the bottom of the newsletter) and follow the prompts.

From any page on Adobe.com:

  1. At the top of the page, on the right side, click "Sign in" and enter your login credentials.
  2. Click "My preferences".
  3. Under "My content subscriptions", uncheck the box next to "I would like to subscribe to Adobe Inspire Magazine."
  4. Click Update (bottom of the page).

Alternatively, you may mail your unsubscribe request to:

Why am I unable to see images within the e-mail newsletter (HTML)?

Your e-mail administrator (or software vendor) has probably configured your e-mail client to block image downloads from the Internet. If you would like to view images contained within the Inspire e-mail newsletter, we recommend that you add email@mail.adobesystems.com to your address book, contacts, or safe sender list. Additionally, you can contact your e-mail administrator or refer to your e-mail client’s help system to see how to unblock images.

How do I troubleshoot the Inspire app (for iPad) that I downloaded from the App Store?

If you are having an issue with an app you installed from the App Store, read Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store on the Apple tech support site.

Do you offer non-English versions of Adobe Inspire?

We do not offer a non-English version of Adobe Inspire at this time, but we're always open to suggestions. If you would like Adobe Inspire to be localized in a language other than English, please send feedback.

What happened to the vertically oriented iPad edition?

When we launched the iPad edition of Inspire Magazine, we wanted to give readers the flexibility of holding the iPad and reading Inspire in either orientation. Later, when user data indicated that most people read Inspire in the horizontal orientation, we opted to make Inspire horizontal-only to reduce the amount of production and QA time, and also reduce the file size when downloading new issues.
