Team Lead, Order Management


Position Summary

The Order Management team is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of contract/order booking activities between Adobe and its customers/partners for Adobe’s Digital Marketing & Digital Media enterprise and channel business models. The primary role of Order Management is to ensure accurate and expedient booking of revenue while also providing world class customer service to Adobe partners/customers. This team also has full accountability for high level communication in terms of order status, deal review and query resolution. This role is located in Tokyo servicing the Japanese market reporting to Manager based in Dublin, Ireland.



Responsibilities

  • Acquire an maintain in-depth knowledge of Adobe’s Digital Marketing and Digital Media software sales models
  • Understand and adhere related policies, procedures and processes
  • Actively review sales pipeline and corresponding deal information to anticipate possible booking issues and work to resolve
  • Validate order documents (contracts, purchase orders, approval docs etc) upon contract execution
  • Manually process contracts (orders) through Salesforce.com and SAP
  • To work directly with internal Adobe departments (see below) and customers to resolve queries and open issues related to the OM process
  • Support increased workload and additional hours when required i.e month/quarter end.

  • Team related responsibilities:
    - Provide appropriate leadership to the Team (2 persons). Promote a spirit of innovation and enthusiasm. Be the Role Model in setting the tone and direction of the Team by helping to develop it into a high performing and productive unit.
    - Ensure that work is distributed in a fair manner, that morale or interpersonal issues are dealt with promptly.
    - Monitor various business reports and activity to ensure the team is meeting key objectives.
    - Conduct regular (quarterly) check-ins team members to set expectations as well as business and development goals/objectives.
    - Assist with recruitment of new personnel when required and ensure new team members are properly integrated into the group.
    - Plan for professional development for each team member to provide career progression where possible.

Requirements

  • 3 years people management experience in a similar role
  • Excellent numerical/analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Educated to Third level business qualification
  • Fluent business Japanese & English (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce.com
  • Team player
  • Professional manner, confident, bright, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
