Talent Scout


Position Summary

As a Talent Scout, you will be qualifying and presenting top talent in the form of active and passive candidate generation to respective Recruiting Partners while proactively pipelining for future roles and strategic priorities.



Responsibilities

  • Your time will primarily be in these three areas of Candidate Generation: (a) Candidate Identification and Qualification - 80%, (b) Business Acumen & Market Research - 10% and (c) Operational Excellence - 10%
  • Work cross-functionally to gain depth of knowledge about the business while networking with experts in their field
  • Identify, prospect and present a short-list of exceptional candidates to respective Talent Partners
  • Will concurrently scout on 10+ critical searches at one time at various phases of the recruiting cycle
  • Make recommendations to Recruiting Partners & Hiring Managers about competitive landscape supported with your respective research and market data
  • Market and advertise critical roles on external sites, blogs, user groups & social networks
  • Ensure a steady stream of talent regardless of if a critical vacancy is approved or not; all-the-time recruiting versus just-in-time
  • Positioning Adobe as an employer of choice compared to our competition
  • Must be articulate and confident when presenting opportunities to passive candidates and defining Adobe’s position in the market


Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Build trust with others by being consistent, making and keeping commitments, protecting confidences and treating others with respect
  • "Thick skinned" - handle rejection well; overcome objections and determine best course of action
  • Confident in networking; ability to build relationships with prospective candidates and organizations
  • Inquisitive; he/she is intellectually curious and wants to know the right answers and asks the right questions
  • Flexible & positive attitude; calm-under pressure
  • 2 - 5 total years of experience, recruiting experience preferred but not required
  • Strong business acumen and current on market trends
  • Current with social technologies
  • Proficient in MS Office & Acrobat
