Content Server 4.1 and Reader Mobile 9.2 SDK now available

Adobe has released an update to our Digital Publishing Solution for eBooks, including Content Server 4.1 and Reader Mobile 9.2 SDK. With these updates, book distributors can enable “social” password-based content protection as well as text-to-speech accessibility support for eBooks. In addition, Reader Mobile SDK includes a number of rendering, font, and color management enhancements. Learn more.
Digital Editions 1.7.2 now released

Adobe has released an update to the Digital Editions client application for reading and managing eBooks. Digital Editions 1.7.2 provides compatibility for additional operating systems, including Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit) and Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard, 32- and 64-bit), in addition to other enhancements.
Reader Mobile 9.1 SDK released

Adobe has released an update to the Reader Mobile SDK, the software development kit that enables third-party developers to support PDF, EPUB and Adobe Content Server 4 protected documents on reading devices and in smartphone applications. Version 9.1 delivers improvements in performance and rendering, in addition to supporting password-protected PDF files. It simplifies the workflow for authenticating devices with Adobe Digital Editions. The Enhanced Reader Mobile SDK also supports password-protected EPUB files, including EPUB content sold by the Barnes & Noble eBookstore.
