Loading DLLs that don't follow Authorware conventions

DLLs that don't follow Authorware calling conventions require you to enter the following information for each function that you load:

• The function's name
• A list of arguments
• The type of value that the function returns
• A description of the function, if you want to include one

You enter the information when Authorware prompts you for it, after you load the function.

1. Load the function. See:

   • Loading a DLL custom function in a Calculation window, dialog box field, or text object
2. Enter the information about the function.
   • Type the function's name in the Function Name field.

   • Type the function's arguments in the Arguments field. Separate the arguments with commas.

   • Type an optional description in the Description field.
3. Click Load.
