bold (TextFormat.bold property)

public bold : Boolean

A Boolean value that specifies whether the text is boldface. The default value is null, which indicates that the property is undefined. If the value is true, then the text is boldface.

Example

The following example creates a text field that includes characters in boldface.

var my_fmt:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
my_fmt.bold = true;
