You can edit MXML, ActionScript, and CSS code in Adobe Flex Builder 2, and a separate editor is provided for each. However, since the Flex Builder workbench is both project- and document-centric, you don't need to concern yourself with selecting editors, because they are associated with resource types and are opened automatically. This topic discusses the shared capabilities of the Flex Builder editors, which includes code hinting, navigation, formatting, and other productivity enhancing features.
This topic does not discuss design and layout of Flex applications using the MXML editor in Design mode. For more information about Design mode, see Building a Flex User Interface.
