Session Description

This one-day hands-on training class, you will get practical experience using Flash Lite 1.1 to build a fully functional, and well architected mobile application. Topics include understanding mobile device capabilities, optimizing image and graphical assets, using text and fonts in mobile content, creating animations, building navigation systems, using the FSCommand2 statement, adding interface elements, using dynamic data, and testing and deploying Flash Lite content. There will also be a very special sneak peak of the Flash Lite 2.0 player.

Macromedia Flash 8 allows you to create some very cool content in the form of animation, rich media, and revolutionary user interfaces. This session will focus on building interactive Flash content for mobile devices. When developing for mobile devices with Flash, it’s also possible to interact with native device applications and media files that reside on a handset through ActionScript. By doing so, you add more capabilities to your applications and provide for a unique user experience.

What You Will Learn
