Developer Edition of Macromedia ColdFusion MX for JRun now supports Mac OS X
 

MACWORLD CONFERENCE & EXPO, SAN FRANCISCO—January 7, 2003—Macromedia, Inc. (Nasdaq: MACR) today announced the immediate availability of Macromedia JRun 4 for Mac OS X. JRun 4 is the first commercial J2EE compatible application server to support Mac OS X. Currently used at more than 10,000 companies worldwide, JRun 4 is the fast, affordable, and reliable solution for delivering Java applications. JRun 4 for Mac OS X is immediately available for purchase from the Macromedia Online Store at www.macromedia.com/go/buyjrun4/.

In addition, Macromedia announced that the developer edition of Macromedia

ColdFusion MX for J2EE Application Servers adds ColdFusion scripting capabilities to leading J2EE application servers including JRun 4 for Mac OS X. New Mac OS X support for the developer edition enables Macromedia Studio MX developers to both create and test ColdFusion MX applications on the Mac OS X platform. The developer edition is immediately available for download at www.macromedia.com/go/cfmxosx/.
