Adobe Systems Incorporated worked closely with IPC in support of the IPC-1752 Material Composition Declaration (MCD)

Electronics/electrical manufacturers – from huge global companies to mom-and-pop firms – face increasingly stringent, and imminent, hazardous materials restrictions and material reuse/recycling regulations. Yet in today’s outsourced manufacturing environment, companies are impeded in capturing and consolidating materials information across the extended supply chain by numerous factors.

Adobe enables manufacturers to manage this information across processes, suppliers, geographies, production runs and its delivery to OEMs to:

  • Automate collection of material composition data across their supply chain
  • Validate proof of compliance with their distributors by producing a single or hindered IPC 1752s at the top level SKU
  • Control data accuracy and the quality of information about component parts
  • Secure business-critical production information and include electronic digital signatures to ensure
