- What are the Adobe extensions, and what do they do?

The extensions expand the capabilities of Adobe's web authoring tools by allowing web designers and developers to implement SiteCatalyst and Test&Target services directly in the creative process using visual tools.
- Why is Adobe making these extensions available?

According to Adobe software users, tracking, testing, and optimizing online content can be a labor- and time-intensive process, especially with Adobe Flash® software. By largely eliminating the need for SiteCatalyst and Test&Target expertise, the extensions make it easier and faster for users to implement and maintain Adobe Online Marketing Suite services in their web content.
- What products are being integrated, and why were they chosen?

Three of Adobe's web authoring tools can be integrated with SiteCatalyst or Test&Target, so web analytics and optimized experiences can be implemented directly in the creative workflow for web content.
Adobe Flash Professional CS5, the industry standard for creating interactive content, can be integrated with SiteCatalyst and Test&Target.
Adobe Dreamweaver® CS5 software, the industry standard for designing, developing, and maintaining standards-based websites, can be integrated with Test&Target.
Adobe Flash Builder™ 4 software, a professional-grade development tool for building rich Internet applications (RIAs), can be integrated with SiteCatalyst.
- Which versions of Adobe tools are the extensions compatible with?

The extensions are compatible only with Flash Professional CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, and Flash Builder 4.0.1 software.
- What do I need to use these extensions?

You will need the following to use the extensions:
A SiteCatalyst or Test&Target account for the respective extension you would like to use
Adobe Flash Professional CS5, Dreamweaver CS5, or Flash Builder 4 software
Extension (ZMXP) files for Flash Professional CS5 and Dreamweaver CS5 that are downloaded and installed; for Flash Builder, the appropriate plug-in will need to be downloaded and installed
- How do I install and use the extensions?

For Flash Professional CS5 and Dreamweaver CS5, you need Adobe Extension Manager and the extension (ZMXP) file for each extension you'd like to install. To install the extension, simply use Extension Manager (included with Adobe Creative Suite® 5 components). Learn more about working with Extension Manager.
For Flash Builder, a plug-in is available for download as a ZIP file. The instructions for installing the plug-in are included with the ZIP file.
- How much do the extensions cost?

The integration capability is free, but you will need the respective Adobe Online Marketing Suite account and Adobe product in order to use the features of the integration.
