Using Typekit web fonts in Adobe Muse

In the last issue of Inspire Magazine, I showed you how to add interactivity to websites you build with Adobe Muse. This time I'm going to talk about a new feature that Muse recently introduced that enables you to incorporate Typekit web fonts in your site designs.

Until recently you've basically had two choices when it came to using fonts in your websites: a boring but reliable set of web-safe fonts that are likely to be installed on most people's computers (such as Arial, Georgia, and Times New Roman) and system fonts that can display more unique typography but are rendered on the live site as images, so they take much longer to load.

Now there's a third option: Typekit web fonts allow you to access over hundreds of font types to apply to your web pages. Web font text is rendered as actual text content, not images, so text can be selected, copied, and understood by search engines and screen readers.
