Julie Campagna:  Hi, I'm Julie Campagna, managing editor of Inspire Magazine. This week we're in New York City celebrating the availability of Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite 6. Also Adobe's here in full force for Creative Week New York, which is a week‑long celebration of creativity in advertising, design, and digital media. Right now we're at the Adobe CS6 launch party where we're going to catch up with a few designers and find out what their first impressions are of Creative Cloud and Creative Suite 6. So come on. Let's go.

Julie:  What's your favorite feature and your favorite product?

Selena Lounds:  My favorite product is Illustrator. And in CS6 my favorite new feature would be the pattern creation.

Jean Burke
:  Really excited about the pattern‑making functionality in Illustrator CS6, because that's what I do on an everyday basis.

Mordy Golding
:  Illustrator CS6 was rewritten from the ground up. It's faster. It's more stable. To me, that's the biggest feature.

Scott Citron
:  The app that I'm the most excited about is Muse. The fact that there's now an application for people like me that, just by drag and drop, can create a web page is fantastic.

Anne Twomey
:  I'm never going to learn code. So if it's Adobe, and it's based on a lot of things I already know from the other programs, it's something I can take on.

Diana Leto:
We're really excited at Sesame Street for the new Photoshop tool called Content Aware. We create a lot of Muppet photography where we want to be able to change and alter the fur and the background and I think this is going to be really helpful for us.

Scott Citron
:  In InDesign my favorite feature is the alternate layout capability and the liquid layout rules.

Marcos Menendez
: I'm definitely excited about Creative Cloud.

Scott Citron
: I think Creative Cloud is great.  Adobe can update these apps all the time and you don’t have to wait two years to get the latest update.

Jacob Cohen:
I think the subscription model… makes it more accessible to people - it make it’s a lot more affordable.

Selena Lounds: I'm really excited because it gives me the opportunity to use whatever applications that I want at the time that I want to use it.

Marcos Menendez
:  It'll allow you to be more fluid regardless of what device you're on and especially when you're on the go and you're mobile, you can access it wherever.

Vijay Mathews
:  I was playing with Photoshop Touch just recently and I can say, I actually love it. I was surprised, within a few seconds I actually was pretty adept at it.

Jean Burke
:  I really, really love the idea of being able to integrate iPad into my workflow. I thought it was a really cool, intuitive, dynamic way to work.

Vijay Mathews:  V
ery well designed. It's very clean and that, to me, is essential for any kind of mobile application. [silence]

Mordy Golding
: With the CS6 apps, Adobe continues to knock it of the park.  Somehow Adobe has this sixth sense, knows what designers need and great features end up in the products.

Vijay Mathews
:  Every time a new version comes out – it gets better, its gets stronger, gets faster becomes more  stable and makes my work life a lot easier.

Julie:
Well I hope this video gives you a taste of what to expect from Creative Cloud and Creative Suite 6. It's a pretty big deal. If you want, check it out at adobe.com/creativecloud.  And in the meantime, I hope you enjoyed this edition of Inspire Magazine.
