  Requirements for the Connect Seminars



What do you need to participate?
e-seminars (live or pre-recorded) are events held via internet through Adobe Acrobat Connect Professional technology. You need a computer with a browser, Adobe Flash player and an internet connection to participate.

Compatibility with Adobe Acrobat Connect
If you would like to check compatibility of your computer with Adobe Acrobat Connect you can test this beforehand via this link.

Joining an e-seminar
After registration you will receive a confirmation by email with more information such as the URL you will need to participate.

Possible issues
My company uses a proxy server to control internet access Being behind a proxy server may affect your ability to access Acrobat Connect. Try the following:
Within Internet Explorer select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab
Enable the setting Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections and click OK
Close all browser windows and re-open before trying to connect to meeting again



System requirements:

Microsoft® Windows® 98 SE, 2000, XP, Windows Vista™ Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate, Business, or Enterprise (32-bit or 64-bit editions)
Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 1.5, Netscape Navigator 7.1, AOL 9
Adobe Flash Player 8 or higher
Minimum bandwidth requirement is 56KBps

Apple Mac:
Mac OS X 10.2, 10.3, 10.4
Safari 1.1 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 1.5, Linux Mozilla Firefox 1.5, Solaris Mozilla 1.7
Adobe Flash Player 8 or higher
Minimum bandwidth requirement is 56KBps

Other:
An internet browser like those mentioned above
Adobe Flash Player 9 or higher for Linux
and Solaris
