Product activation is an anonymous, secure, hassle-free process that deters unlicensed use of Macromedia branded software. No personal information is captured or transmitted during the activation process.
Many Macromedia branded products include activation as part of the installation process. The use of all Macromedia branded products is governed by the Adobe product license agreement.
Here is a step-by-step tour of the activation experience.
Activation
1. To begin activation, choose the first option, whether you are connected to the internet or not. If you don't want to activate now, choose the second option for a 30-day product trial.
2. Just enter your serial number and continue.
3. The entire process only takes a few minutes. If you are not connected to the internet when you entered your serial number, activation will automatically continue in the background the next time you launch your software and are connected to the internet. Connected or not, your software will run uninterrupted. No personal information is gathered at any time during activation.
4. Done. Now you can register your software or set a reminder to do it later. Registration is voluntary and is never linked to activation information. Enjoy your software.
30-Day Trial
1. To use your software in trial mode for 30 days, select the second option. You can activate anytime within the 30-day trial period. All products are fully functional in trial mode. At the end of the 30-day trial, you will need to activate to continue using your software.
