Do I need ongoing Internet access to use my Adobe® Creative Cloud™ desktop applications?

No. Your Creative Cloud desktop applications (such as Adobe® Photoshop® and Illustrator®) are installed directly on your computer, so you won't need an ongoing Internet connection to use them on a daily basis.

An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license your desktop apps, but you can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license. The desktop apps will attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days.

For annual members, you can use the apps for up to 99 days in offline mode. Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 30 days in offline mode.

Are there special pricing offers available to purchase Creative Cloud?

If you're interested in moving to Creative Cloud, here are a few options available as applicable for a limited time:

  • Students and teachers: Creative Cloud is offered at US$19.99 a month through June 25.
  • Existing Adobe Creative Suite® customers, CS3 or later: Special offer of US$29.99 a month (US$19.99 a month for CS6 users) is available through July 31.
  • Creative Cloud for teams (4–10 members): Creative Cloud is offered at US$39.99 a month for each team member through August 31.

Promotional pricing applies to the first year of Creative Cloud membership. For more information about our plans, visit the Creative Cloud membership plans page.

For how long will Adobe continue to sell Creative Suite 6?

We plan to sell Creative Suite 6 for use on supported platforms indefinitely. Learn more.

What happens to my files if I cancel or downgrade my membership?

If you cancel or downgrade your paid membership, you'll still have access to all of the files in the Creative Cloud folder on your computer and via the Creative Cloud website.

Your account will be downgraded to a free membership, which includes 2GB of storage.  If you're using more than 2GB of storage, you will not be able to sync files until the amount of online disk space used in your account drops below your allotted amount.

If you are over your quota, you have 90 days to reduce your online usage or you may lose access to some or all of your files through the Creative Cloud website.

Do my files need to be stored in the cloud?

No. Your files remain on your local hard drive. You can also choose to take advantage of the ability to synchronize your local files with your Creative Cloud storage. Even if you choose to sync your files to Creative Cloud, you will always have a local copy of your files.

When will Adobe release more sync technologies, like syncing files and fonts on the desktop?

There are a number of new features that will be coming soon to Creative Cloud. These include file syncing on the desktop, file versioning and private folder sharing; and Sync Fonts, which will revolutionize the way you work with type by helping you quickly find the perfect font from the growing library of Adobe Typekit fonts, sync it to your computer, and have it immediately available for use in any desktop application. We expect all of these features to be available to Creative Cloud members in the near future.

Why did Adobe rename Creative Suite to Creative Cloud?

Our vision for Creative Cloud is beyond just offering our creative applications for download. We're building a platform that lets you work when and where you want and makes the community a key part of the creative process.

Enabling cloud-based workflows is a main area of focus for this and future releases, with the goal of making it easier to work across multiple machines and devices, as well as allowing collaboration and discovery within the creative community. The new naming reflects this focus.

Do I need ongoing Internet access to use my Creative Cloud desktop applications?

Do I have to download and install the applications available in Creative Cloud all at once?

No. Creative Cloud lets you install each application individually whenever it works best for you. Mix and match whatever you want — you have the freedom to choose which applications to install.

Can I send files to people who don't have a Creative Cloud membership? Will they be able to view or share the file?

Yes, files created by the Creative Cloud apps can be shared like any other file. For example, you can share files through email, FTP, and so on.

In addition, Creative Cloud sharing features let you share files with people who aren't members of Creative Cloud by allowing them to view the files in a browser. Viewers can turn layers on and off, view relevant metadata, comment, and even download files for editing.

As a Creative Cloud member, am I required to install an upgrade to a desktop application when it becomes available?

No. You are not required to install any new version of the desktop applications available in Creative Cloud. You can continue using your current version of the product as long as you have an active membership. You have flexibility on when you install a new release to take advantage of new product features, if you choose to do so.

I currently have a previous, perpetual-licensed Creative Suite edition on my computer. Will I be able to use both my Creative Suite products and the new Creative Cloud applications on my computer?

Yes, your existing Creative Suite installation will not be affected by installing the new CC applications. For example, you can install and use both Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC on the same computer.

What happens if I decide to stop my membership?

You will continue to have access to free Creative Cloud member benefits, and if you saved your work to your computer you will continue to have access to those files. You will no longer have access to the Creative Cloud desktop applications or most of the services that are components of a Creative Cloud membership.

If you purchased an annual individual membership plan and you cancel after the first 30 days but before meeting the 12-month commitment date, you will be charged 50% of the remaining amount left on your contract.

When will the new CC apps and Creative Cloud features announced in May 2013 be available?

The new CC apps, such as Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC, and Creative Cloud features, such as Sync Settings, desktop notifications, integration with Behance, and desktop notifications, will be available exclusively to Creative Cloud members on June 17, 2013. Learn more.

I am already a Creative Cloud member. Do I need to do anything to receive the new CC apps when they are available on June 17?

If you are an active Creative Cloud member, with a Complete, Single App, or Creative Cloud for teams membership, the new CC apps will be available for you to download and install from the Creative Cloud site on June 17. As always, it’s your choice when you want to download and install the new versions.

  1. Student & Teachers – Creative Cloud is offered at $19.99/month
  2. Existing customers CS3 and later – special offer of $29.99/ month

How do I purchase a Creative Cloud membership?

Creative Cloud is available for individuals, teams and small businesses, and enterprises (such as large companies, government agencies, and educational institutions).

Creative Cloud for individuals is for people who work on their own such as freelancers and students. You can choose from Creative Cloud complete membership, Creative Cloud complete membership for students and teachers, and Creative Cloud single-app membership. Creative Cloud for individuals is available from Adobe.com and select retailers and etailers.

Creative Cloud for teams is for small and midsize organizations and is available as a complete membership. Creative Cloud for teams is available from Adobe.com and through a worldwide network of resellers.  Learn more about Creative Cloud for teams.

Creative Cloud for enterprises is for large organizations and institutions in commercial businesses, education, and government, and is offered as a term-based volume Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA). This agreement can be customized to purchase and deploy select apps and services to fit the needs of your organization and the users. Companies interested in Creative Cloud for enterprise can contact their Adobe account executive.

Additionally, for organizations that are unable to deploy cloud services, we offer Creative Cloud desktop apps through a Creative Cloud Desktop Applications subscription for government agencies, and via the Adobe Education Enterprise Agreement (EEA) for educational institutions through the channel.

In which countries can I purchase a Creative Cloud membership?

View the latest list of countries where Creative Cloud is available for individuals, teams, and small businesses.

In what languages is Creative Cloud available?

Currently, the Creative Cloud website is available in English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish. The goal is to make Creative Cloud as widely available as possible. See the tech specs for available language options for Creative Cloud desktop applications and services.

Does the advertised monthly price for Creative Cloud membership require an annual commitment?

Annual plans for complete and single-app membership, as well as Creative Cloud for teams, offer the best price and require an annual commitment. Cancellation charges for annual plans do apply after the first 30 days.

You also have the option to select a month-to-month plan and pay a higher monthly price with no commitment. All plans purchased on Adobe.com are billed monthly.

What if I just want a single desktop app, such as Photoshop? Do I have to purchase the entire Creative Cloud offering?

If you are interested in getting access to just one desktop app, we offer a Single App membership plan for most of our products. See more details here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/buying-guide.html. However, if you think you might want access to additional apps or services, it is more cost effective to join the Complete plan as it gives you access to all of the Creative Cloud desktop apps and services.

What is included in a Single App membership plan?

A Single App membership plan gives you access to the latest version of one desktop app of your choice, plus updates and upgrades the moment they are released, 20GB of online storage for file sharing and collaboration, a customized online portfolio on your own URL with Behance ProSite, and integration with Behance so you can find inspiration, showcase your work, get feedback, and gain global exposure. You also get access to the following services (available in June): the new Creative Cloud desktop app so you can keep track of your creative world in a single activity stream, improved collaboration through folder sharing and file versioning, and the ability to sync your settings, fonts and colors (in select apps, with more to come soon).

When will my credit card be charged? How can I update my information?

Your credit card will be charged when the order is processed. You will receive an order confirmation email.  To update your information, sign in to creative.adobe.com and update your billing information under My Account.

Will the cost of my membership ever increase?

When you purchase directly from Adobe, the cost of an annual membership will not go up during the first 12 months of your membership. It is possible that the cost of the month-to-month membership will increase, but if it does, you will be notified and given the opportunity to cancel.

Adobe also offers prepaid cards through retailers and resellers that allow you to buy membership with an upfront payment.

Can I prepay for my Creative Cloud membership?

You can prepay for one year of membership when you purchase through a retailer or etailer (like Amazon). This gives you the same price as purchasing an annual plan directly from Adobe, but you pay up front instead of monthly.

Can I buy more than one membership to an individual offering of Creative Cloud?

No, Adobe has moved to identity-based licensing with a technology that will not support multiple same-product licenses, so you can buy only one membership per Adobe ID. If you need two Creative Cloud memberships, you will need to purchase each with a unique Adobe ID. You can also purchase a Creative Cloud for teams membership, which allows you to purchase and manage multiple seats under one account.

I just purchased CS6 but want to switch to Creative Cloud. Can I return it?

If you bought directly from Adobe within the last 30 days, you can contact Customer Service to return the product. Any product purchased from a seller other than Adobe may only be returned to that seller, in accordance with the seller's return policy.

Can I purchase a perpetual license for the new Creative Cloud (CC) desktop applications that were announced in May 2013?

No. The new CC versions of the desktop applications are available only through Creative Cloud offerings for individuals, teams, and enterprise. We do not have any current plans to release future CC tools outside Creative Cloud.

However, for organizations such as government agencies and educational institutions that are unable to deploy cloud services, we offer Creative Cloud desktop apps through a Creative Cloud Desktop Applications subscription for government agencies, and via the Adobe Education Enterprise Agreement (EEA) for educational institutions through the channel.

Are all of Adobe's products now available only as part of Creative Cloud?

Desktop tools that were part of the Creative Suite family, as well as Adobe Muse™ CC and Edge Tools & Services, are now available only as part of Creative Cloud. The new CC apps are an integral part of Creative Cloud and have been reinvented to support a more intuitive, connected way of creating. Other desktop tools, such as Adobe Acrobat® and Photoshop Lightroom®, continue to be available outside Creative Cloud.

For information about specific products, refer to the specific product pages.

For how long will Adobe continue to sell Creative Suite 6?

We plan to sell Creative Suite 6 for use on supported platforms indefinitely. To learn more, visit: http://www.adobe.com/products/cs6.html.

Why is Adobe discontinuing boxed copies of Creative Suite?

As Adobe continues to focus on delivering world-class innovation through Creative Cloud and digital fulfillment, we will be phasing out shrink-wrapped, boxed versions of Creative Suite. Electronic downloads for Creative Suite products will continue to be available from both Adobe.com, as well as reseller and retail partners.

Why is the value-added tax (VAT) that Adobe applies to my purchase different than my local tax rate?

For Europe, Adobe charges a consistent Europe-wide VAT of 23%.  As a company incorporated in Ireland, Adobe is required to charge the Irish VAT of 23% for sales on Adobe.com. Note that for Europe, prices on Adobe.com are currently displayed inclusive of VAT.

In 2015, the regulations are expected to change, and we’ll be able to charge VAT based on the customer’s location. For example, a UK customer will pay 20% VAT, a German customer 19% VAT, and so on.

Creative Cloud isn't available where I live. When will it become available?

We intend to make Creative Cloud as widely available as possible. Adobe will share more details about country availability over time. While individual membership may not be available in your country, you may be able to purchase a team membership in your country via Adobe's network of resellers.

CS6 is also available for sale worldwide, including in countries where no Creative Cloud offering exists yet.

Desktop apps and product updates
To the top
What are the new CC applications?

The CC applications are next generation of the creative desktop applications, like Photoshop and Illustrator, which are available as part of your Creative Cloud membership. The new CC apps are an integral part of Creative Cloud and have been reinvented to support a more intuitive, connected way of creating.

How often will Adobe be adding new features to Creative Cloud?

Adobe plans to add new applications, features, and updates to Creative Cloud on an ongoing basis. As these features become available, notifications are sent to users through their activity stream in the Creative Cloud desktop app. Customers can also keep up to date on what's new in Creative Cloud by following the Creative Cloud blog.

If I am not a member of Creative Cloud, will I have access to the new Creative Cloud (CC) desktop applications and features recently announced?

The new CC versions of the desktop applications are available only through Creative Cloud offerings for individuals, teams, and enterprise. We do not have any current plans to release future CC tools outside Creative Cloud.

However, for educational institutions that are unable to deploy cloud services, we offer Creative Cloud desktop apps through a Creative Cloud Desktop Applications subscription via the Adobe Education Enterprise Agreement (EEA) for educational institutions through the channel.

Do Creative Cloud members have access to previous versions of Creative Cloud apps?

Yes. Creative Cloud paid members have access to a select set of archived versions of the desktop apps. Starting with CS6, select versions of each of the desktop creative apps will be archived and available for download. Archived versions are provided "as is" and are not updated to work with the latest hardware and software platforms.

Can the new CC applications export to CS6?

Many of the Creative Cloud desktop applications provide the ability to export files to the Creative Suite 6 version of that same application. Creative Suite 6 products are available via a perpetual software license.

Adobe plans to continue to support the ability to export to Creative Suite 6 in the applications that have that capability now.

New features added to the desktop applications after Creative Suite 6 may not be supported in the exported file, or by the Creative Suite 6 application.

Which CC applications support export to CS6?

The following applications support the ability to export to the CS6 version of the application:

  • Photoshop
  • InDesign®
  • Illustrator
  • Flash® Professional
  • Dreamweaver®
  • After Effects®

Applications not listed here may not support exporting to Creative Suite 6, and may not do so in future releases.

New features added to the above list after Creative Suite 6 may not be supported in the exported file, or by the Creative Suite 6 application.

Do the new Creative Cloud desktop apps support Mac OS X v10.6?

To take advantage of all the great features in the new Creative Cloud desktop apps, customers should upgrade to a newer version of Mac OS X. Some of the new CC apps do not support v10.6 and will not install. Minimum system requirements for each Creative Cloud app can be found on the tech specs page on Adobe.com.

Note that if you are on Mac OS X v10.6, you will have to install products that are compatible with v10.6 via Adobe Application Manager.

Which Creative Cloud apps support Mac OS X v10.6?

The following Creative Cloud apps support Mac OS X v10.6.8 and later:

  • Extension Manager
  • Illustrator
  • InCopy®
  • InDesign
  • Adobe Muse

Products not listed here are not supported on Mac OS X v10.6.

Adobe has performed limited testing on other Creative Cloud desktop apps on Mac OS X v10.6, but these apps are expected to have issues with features and functionality.

Which desktop applications in Creative Cloud require 64-bit operating systems?

With the new CC apps, most of the pro video and audio applications now require 64-bit operating systems to run. These native 64-bit applications include Adobe Premiere® Pro CC, Adobe Audition® CC, After Effects® CC, Prelude® CC, and SpeedGrade® CC. Photoshop CC and Lightroom also require 64-bit on Mac OS.

Why is Adobe switching some of its applications to a native 64-bit architecture?

By optimizing code for 64-bit operating systems, Adobe is able to deliver the performance gains that creative professionals require. Most of Adobe's pro video applications now require a 64-bit operating system, but the majority of video professionals have already transitioned to 64-bit capable systems, such as Mac OS X v10.7 (Lion) or v10.8 (Mountain Lion), or 64-bit versions of Microsoft® Windows® 7 or Windows 8. Because 64-bit operating systems offer superior performance, current and future releases of most of the Adobe professional video and audio applications will not support 32-bit operating systems.

Can I use the new Creative Cloud pro video applications on 32-bit operating systems?

No. To run the Creative Cloud pro video and audio applications, you will need a 64-bit version of either Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 8, or on a Mac, Mac OS X v10.7 or v10.8.

Note: Windows XP and Windows Vista® support have been discontinued, including 64-bit versions of those platforms. Mac OS X v10.6 (Leopard) and earlier are not supported for use with the Adobe professional video and audio applications.

If you are using an incompatible operating system, Adobe recommends that you upgrade to a 64-bit edition of Windows 8 or Mac OS X v10.8.

Data security

Where is Creative Cloud hosted?

Creative Cloud is hosted on Amazon Web Services™ (AWS) in the United States, Europe, and Asia. AWS offers a reliable platform for software services used by thousands of businesses worldwide. AWS provides services in accordance with security best practices and undergoes industry-recognized certifications and audits: PCI DSS Level 1, ISO 27001, FISMA Moderate, HIPAA, and SAS 70 Type II. This means that Creative Cloud members benefit from the latest in security practices for stored assets.

For more information, visit Amazon Web Services.

How secure is the storage space on Creative Cloud?

Adobe uses industry-leading security engineering processes to build its products. With Creative Cloud, security is considered at every level, from applications to networks to physical facilities. In addition to the latest technologies, Adobe adheres to the latest best-practice policies regarding online security.

What security is used at the application level? What security measures are in place during file transfer, and are stored files encrypted?

Creative Cloud uses industry-leading encryption technology to protect our members' data. When you use the service and transfer files, 256-bit AES Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption is used for both user authentication and data transfer encryption, helping to ensure that your data and documents are available only to you and the users you authorize. This is the same industry-leading technology used by the world's financial institutions and governments. The service issues a session cookie only to record authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The session cookie does not include the username (Adobe ID) or password of the user. For stored Creative Cloud assets, users benefit from the industry-leading security and certifications provided by Amazon Web Services.

What network-level security is used?

Creative Cloud leverages firewall protection, intrusion detection systems, SSL encryption, and proprietary protocols to protect your important information. The services are hosted in a protected server environment that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to help prevent interference or access from outside intruders.

What physical security is in place for the servers that host Creative Cloud?

Services hosting facilities are protected by multiple layers of physical security, and only authorized personnel may access the facilities and servers. In addition, all facility access is logged, and logs are regularly reviewed and protected from outside access. All data center equipment has physical protections in place against data theft and environmental hazards in order to prevent assets from being lost, damaged, or compromised and to prevent interruption in business activities.

Storage and cloud services
To the top
Can I store any kind of file in Creative Cloud, or just Adobe files?

There are no restrictions on the file types you can store in Creative Cloud.

Can I buy additional Creative Cloud storage?

Additional storage will be available for purchase later in 2013. If you have reached your storage limit, contact Adobe Customer Service.

How does file versioning work in Creative Cloud?

Every time you create a new version of a file in Creative Cloud, the previous version is saved and stored. You can create an unlimited number of previous versions, which are saved for 10 days and do not count against your storage total. Only the most recent version will count against your storage total.

What happens to my files in the cloud if I cancel my membership?

If you cancel or downgrade your paid membership, you will still have access to all of the files in the Creative Cloud folder on your computer and via the Creative Cloud website.

Your account will be downgraded to a free membership, which includes 2 GB of storage.  If you are using greater than 2 GB of storage, you will not be able to sync files until the amount of online disk space used in your account drops below your allotted amount.

What is Behance?

Behance, which joined Adobe in December 2012, is the leading online community to showcase and discover creative work. Creatives update their work in one place to broadcast it widely and efficiently. Companies explore the work and access talent on a global scale. As a Creative Cloud member, you can now easily create a customized portfolio and post your work directly to Behance from Creative Cloud and the Creative Cloud desktop apps.

What is Behance ProSite?

ProSite is a personal portfolio site builder that stays in sync with your projects on Behance and transforms a public Behance portfolio into a fully customized personal portfolio on your own URL. All paid Creative Cloud memberships now include a free subscription to Behance ProSite (valued at US$11 per month, or US$99 per year).

Can I share directly to Behance from the Creative Cloud apps and the Creative Cloud website?

Yes, Creative Cloud and CC desktop apps like Photoshop allow you to share directly to Behance. Learn more about how to share to Behance from Creative Cloud.

How can I try out the desktop applications that are part of Creative Cloud?

As a Creative Cloud free member, you can download trial versions of the Creative Cloud desktop applications from the Creative Cloud website.

Can I convert a product trial to a paid Creative Cloud membership?

My organization wants to block access to certain services, such as storage and access to community features, available through Creative Cloud. Is this possible?

Yes, your IT administrators can block users from accessing the online services.  The online services and their URLs are listed here.

As an administrator, you will also be able to deploy Creative Cloud desktop applications independent of the cloud-based services using the Creative Cloud Packager. The Creative Cloud Packager is available through Creative Cloud for teams.

How do I prevent end users from using their Creative Cloud for teams storage?

There is no way to centrally disable access to Creative Cloud storage. If an end user has access to the web via a browser, they also have the ability to store their files in the cloud. However, if the end users are on a corporate network and using company-administered machines, the following network calls can be blocked via the organization’s firewall, thereby blocking use of storage while on the network:

  • https://creative.adobe.com/api/collections
  • https://creative.adobe.com/api/share
  • https://creative.adobe.com/files - port 443

Please Note: The services blocked on the web site may be accessible via other endpoints not related to the site and the site may be the only access point for services that should not be blocked. The full list of online services and their URLs are listed here.

If I work in an enterprise or government agency that restricts access to the Internet, can I use Creative Cloud?

Yes, if you are part of a large enterprise, you can work with an Adobe representative to customize a Creative Cloud solution that meets your organization's needs.  Contact your Adobe account executive to discuss deployment options.

How can I purchase Creative Cloud for teams?

You can purchase Creative Cloud for teams directly from Adobe.com or through a channel reseller.

If you are purchasing through a channel reseller, you need to become a member of the Value Incentive Plan (VIP) program.

What is the Value Incentive Plan (VIP)?

You may be familiar with Adobe's CLP and TLP volume licensing programs that are available for purchasing licenses of Adobe's perpetual software. VIP is Adobe's new membership-based buying program that customers join to purchase Creative Cloud for teams through the channel. There is no cost to join VIP.

One of the unique benefits of VIP is the ability for customers to immediately download and deploy Adobe's subscription-based products while the billing cycle is still in process. Immediate fulfillment means that your employees and team members no longer have to wait for the ordering process to be complete and can start using products as soon as they are assigned a seat.

In addition, with VIP there are no minimum purchase requirements.

How do I join VIP?

Joining VIP is quick and easy. Your reseller will send you an email inviting you to join the program. Once you review and accept the terms of the program (there is no obligation to buy), you will be assigned a VIP ID for placing orders.

As a VIP customer, how do I purchase Creative Cloud for teams?

You can purchase Creative Cloud for teams from your reseller of choice by providing your VIP ID. A confirmation email will be sent to you when seats are added. If you purchase from two different resellers, you can use the same VIP ID or create two separate IDs, giving you flexibility in how you manage your subscriptions.

Alternatively, you can sign in to creative.adobe.com and add seats directly to your Creative Cloud for teams membership. Note that when you add seats directly through Creative Cloud, your reseller will be notified, and you will have 30 days to send a purchase order.

You can track your seats and the status of payments on a seat-by-seat basis within Creative Cloud.

How do I add seats to my Creative Cloud for teams membership?

If you've purchased Creative Cloud for teams through Adobe.com, you can add seats at any time and will be billed in your next billing cycle. Similarly, if you purchase seats through a reseller, you can add seats at any time. However, you will need to place an order with your reseller within 30 days to complete the transaction. If you do not place your purchase order within 30 days, you will not be able to add any more seats and your unpaid seats may be deactivated. All additional seats will co-terminate with your original anniversary date.

You can track your seats and the status of payments on a seat-by-seat basis within Creative Cloud.

Why does Creative Cloud for teams cost more than Creative Cloud for individuals?

A team membership includes all of the great features and benefits that come with an individual membership, plus:

  • Centralized administration: A centralized purchasing and license management console to easily assign and transfer seats at no cost, add seats, and track usage.
  • Centralized deployment: Centrally deploy all Creative Cloud apps or a customized subset. Administrators can also block services and online storage access while on the corporate network.
  • Additional storage: 100GB of storage per user — 5x what individual Creative Cloud members have.
  • Expert support: Exclusive access to Adobe experts via one-on-one sessions (two per year, per person). Valued at US$200.

No. The desktop applications are downloaded from Creative Cloud but are installed and run locally on the desktop the way they always have. They are not streamed or virtualized in the cloud.

Can IT continue to package the Creative Cloud desktop applications and deploy them using their existing deployment infrastructure?

Yes. IT packaging tools will continue to be provided for customization and packaging of the Creative Cloud desktop applications and will output Microsoft® Windows® Installer (MSI) or Mac OS X PKG installers for enterprise deployment and imaging.

Your IT team can continue to control which apps and versions are packaged and deployed, and when. Versions can be vetted in production or via pilots before they are deployed across the organization.

What if my organization does not want to use Adobe IDs for login to the Creative Cloud?

Adobe provides the ability for IT to deploy anonymously without Adobe IDs for Creative Cloud for enterprise members. Can IT control who has access to Creative Cloud storage or particular applications?

Yes. An administrative portal will allow granular levels of control for members of your organization. If your organization does not want to grant access to storage or a particular application, IT will have that flexibility organization-wide, for groups, or even for individuals.

Will Creative Cloud for enterprise work for bring your own device (BYOD) environments or for organizations that allow employees to work from home?

Yes. Once your organization has implemented the forthcoming Single Sign-On authentication of Creative Cloud for enterprise, end users will be able to download and install creative desktop applications on their own systems using their login.

If an employee has files stored on the Creative Cloud for enterprise cloud storage and leaves the organization, will that person still have access to the files?

No. The former employee will not be able to log in and access the files. Only those who are still in the organization will have access to the files.
