- What version of Flash Player is required to display Flash documents created by FlashPaper?
Flash documents can be displayed by any browser with Flash Player 6 or higher installed. Some features, like text search, are only available in browsers with Flash Player 7 or higher installed.
- Can I e-mail Flash documents generated by FlashPaper 2?
We do not recommend that you e-mail Flash documents. While you can technically e-mail Flash documents, they are best used as embedded or linked web documents. If you do e-mail Flash files, the recipient will need to use a web browser to open the file. On most operating systems the recipient should be able to drag the document into a web browser to view it.
- Is there a standalone Mac version of FlashPaper available?
No. Today there is no standalone version of FlashPaper available. A limited OS X version of FlashPaper 2 is available only with Contribute 3 software. If you would like a standalone OS X version of FlashPaper, let the product team know by making a feature request. This request will be considered, but is not guaranteed to be granted.
- What are the differences of the Macintosh version of FlashPaper included with Contribute 3?
The version of FlashPaper compatible with Mac OS X included with Contribute 3 does not include Microsoft Office integration or the ability to use drag and drop to import documents directly into Contribute. It is installed as a printer driver that users can access by going to the Print menu item in any product and printing to the FlashPaper Printer to generate Flash documents. These documents can be saved to your desktop or incorporated into web pages using the Insert > Flash menu item in Contribute 3.
- In which languages is FlashPaper available?
FlashPaper 2 is available with a localized user interface in English, French, German, Italian, Korean and Spanish. The documentation is available in English only.
