• Tag Editors: Insert, update and edit tags visually with Tag Editors. The Tag Editor dialogs help you quickly and accurately define attributes and assign attribute values. Tag Editors are available for HTML, XHTML, WML and SMIL tags.
• Tag Insight and Tag Completion: Decrease coding time. Tag Insight gives you a list of available tags and attributes as you type. Tag Completion automatically gives you a closing tag when you type or select your opening tag. Tag Insight and Tag Completion are available for HTML, XHTML, WML and SMIL tags.
• Tag Inspector: Reduce testing time with the Tag Inspector. Quickly review tags for completeness and edit a tag without having to work directly in the code. Tag Inspector is available for HTML, XHTML, WML and SMIL tags.
• Code Validator: The Validator reduces QA testing time by validating language syntax for HTML, XHTML, WML and SMIL. The Validator can be configured for different language versions.

• Integrated Workflow: Integrated workflow features with Dreamweaver and Fireworks allow you to easily share documents across applications and speed up site development. Launch and edit HTML files in Dreamweaver from within HomeSite. Launch Fireworks from within HomeSite to edit Web graphics.

• Secondary Files Tab: Increase your efficiency in managing documents and images. Browse local and remote files simultaneously, and quickly move files between the two locations.
• Scriptable Deployment: Save time and maintain complete control over your site deployment by using VBScript or JavaScript to create project deployment scripts. You can also modify scripts generated by the Site Deployment Wizard.
• Auto Backup: Get the assurance that all your hard work will always be preserved. Auto Backup saves your files at selected time intervals and lets you quickly recover and restore files that have been backed up.

Superior Code Navigation

• ColdFusion MX 6.1 and MX 7 CFML Tag Support: The CFML MX 6.1 and MX 7 tags and functions are supported in Tag Chooser, Tag Insight, tag editors, and Expression Builder. F1 Help and embedded Help for the new tags and functions are available. Please note: you must download and install the Extensions for HomeSite+ for ColdFusion MX 7 tag support.
• Color Coding: Color Coding improves the readability and editing of ASP, CFML, CSS, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, JSP, Perl, PHP and VBScript code. Color-coding is fully customizable, making it easy to read and edit your code in a way that is comfortable to you.
• Split Window: The Split Window enables viewing of two areas of code simultaneously, allowing you to find coding errors more easily while working with long blocks of code.
• Collapsible Code: The Collapsible Code feature allows you to hide entire blocks of code, allowing you to view only the sections you need.

• Configurable Workspace: HomeSite conforms to your style and layout preferences. Toolbars can be docked, floated or removed. Buttons can be added to or removed from toolbars. The Editor and Resource panes can be resized to fit your references, and you can display as many resource panes as your desire.
• Keyboard Shortcuts: Create and customize keyboard shortcuts to save time performing many functions. You can use keyboard shortcuts on HomeSite functions or those you have created in JavaScript or VBScript.
