Premium licensing model
The premium licensing model is intended for use with automated publishing solutions such as public-facing B2B or B2C services made accessible to customers or users via the Internet or corporate-wide within an intranet. This is sometimes also described within the industry as web to print. There is no limit on the number of users for this license. Partners or end users are permitted to use the premium license model in hosted or SaaS-based offerings, but InDesign Server must be an integrated component of a solution, not used as a standalone service. Partners and end users are permitted to offer a two-tier hosted or SaaS model, where a single entity can offer a service that is then integrated into a second party’s service.

Upgrade, trade-up, and upsell options
You can upgrade when you move from previous versions (CS5.5 or older) to CS6 within the same license type and processing capability (single instance or multi instance). This option can only be used when no annual Maintenance has been purchased; otherwise, the upgrade is covered under Maintenance terms.
You can purchase a trade-up to increase processing capability within the same CS6 license type and version.
You can purchase an upsell to move from the limited licensing option to the premium licensing option with the same CS6 version.
Note: These options can be used in combination. For example, moving from a CS4 premium single-instance license to a CS5.5 premium multi-instance license would require an upgrade and a trade-up.
