Why not learn from the most experienced? Adobe is pleased to share the following success stories of best-in-class JDF programs implemented by our worldwide network of partners.

Integrated with Adobe® InDesign® CS software, JDF describes every step in Consolidated Graphics Group's workflow for a particular project. Every person who interacts with the file has access to the job ticket, which helps avoid misunderstandings that could otherwise delay job completion. "With JDF, Adobe has done a wonderful job making sure that Adobe Creative Suite® exchanges information both upstream and downstream," says David Minnick, chief technology officer at Consolidated Graphics.

A trend that Cadmus Communications views as important is the adoption of JDF. With JDF, details about the audience and intent for a piece can be included in a print file, in much the same way that today's files contain fonts and color settings. JDF files can also include instructions about how a piece should be routed from creation through final output. "Success in today's print market requires the ability to recognize and adapt to new trends," says James McQueen, vice president of technology and development at Cadmus. "By leveraging the power of Adobe solutions, we can deliver a wider variety of print services more cost effectively than ever."
