Adobe incorporates JDF technology into many of its products, including the Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Because JDF is an industry standard, developers are able to build their own solutions based on the JDF Open Source code. Here are some tools you can use to get started:

Go to this site and click on "Technical Resources." Here, you can download the latest versions of the JDF Specification, schema and application notes. As well, you can download the JDF Open Source code, which requires acceptance of the CIP4 Software License. The CIP4 Software may only be copied, modified, sublicensed or distributed as expressly provided under the CIP4 license.
