With Adobe® LiveCycle® Rights Management ES3, you can encrypt files and apply persistent and dynamic enforcement on sensitive information that helps maintain confidentiality regardless of where the data resides in the information lifecycle. Detailed audit logs let you monitor each recipient's use of sensitive information, including when and how often a file is accessed.
Dynamically manage information policies
Protect files based on policies that map business objectives to security requirements. Revise and revoke access and usage rights at any time without having to reissue a file after it is distributed.
Protect PDF and other documents, both online and offline
Authors and administrators can apply security policies to PDF files created from popular desktop applications, including Microsoft Office documents and CAD files such as PTC Pro/ENGINEER. Protections can be applied either manually or in an automated server-based process. Recipients can view and work with these rights-protected documents just as they would their PDF counterparts — both online and offline.
Add built-in security to all LiveCycle applications
Rights Management ES3 provides built-in security for other LiveCycle modules to protect files inside repositories. Protect process information with LiveCycle Process Management ES3, or automate protection in concert with LiveCycle PDF Generator ES3.
Enhance the value of existing IT infrastructure investments
Based on open standards and built on J2EE, all LiveCycle software modules can be easily integrated with existing enterprise infrastructures. In addition to Rights Management ES3, use LiveCycle Digital Signatures ES3 for added document integrity and nonrepudiation.
