Thank God for Muse
I'm a print designer and have advanced knowledge in Adobe programs like InDesign and Photoshop and Illustrator. I have a basic knowledge of web design. Recently I tried learning to code a website from scratch and watched a ton of tutorials and after struggling with it, decided that learning code is very hard for me and very tedious. I am visual and want to see what I'm designing. Then I heard Adobe released a beta version of Muse and I thought, this is exactly what I need. I just built a website for a client of mine and it was so easy and I loved designing it visually, like I would in InDesign. This is how I always wished web design would be - easy. Not like having to build it in Photoshop, slice up the web page and then go through the tedious task to code it. Too many steps. There are a few weird things in Muse - like when I place an image and then view it, sometimes the image is not right where I put it but I know as time goes along, it will improve. I built an iPad and iPhone version of my website and that was very slick. And when I published the website on my own web host (not Business Catalyst), it worked great and the website looks as it should across multiple browsers. I am very pleased with Muse and I look forward to more features, like a blog functionality and more cool Java script widgets. Or perhaps ecommerce features. I am a fan and will continue to use Muse from now on and I look forward to seeing the program evolve and change the way we create websites.

So close!
This App is a pretty good start on the road to Web design without hand coding. And I really did enjoy the process of not needing to go in and write code.
But I had so many issues with it as I went along that it got in the way of achieving the goal.
So I am not sure why I had to pay for what was more or less a beta test.
I'm sure it will get better though.

Just when you least expect it...
Having basic web design skills, (basic understanding of php, javascript, medium knowledge on basics of web design) I was so surprised at the simplicity of Muse. This program helped me redesign a website that I had laboriously coded and designed for almost 4 months by hand in 2 days! Combined with Edge Animate, this is a powerful tool in creating the very best of web design. I get to spend more time on visuals and the design layout instead of on the coding! Answer to my prayers! I think after a few more updates this will be the perfect platform for web design for designers. Excellent addition.

Lacking web responsive design option
At first, I was thrilled that Adobe had come out with a program for web design that fit the needs of photographers and artists like me with little interest in coding for the web. But I have since been very disappointed with the Adobe team for not keeping up with modern technologies like iPhones and tablets for viewing sites, what is called "Web Responsive Design."
I have gone back to doing it myself and am using "Juicebox" like I would a widget in Dreamweaver to showcase my photographs.
Here's a pointer: Images, more than text or fancy design, should be the main focus of any web engine since that is what most people are looking for when they browse the web.
Wordpress developers have also been way ahead of you in meeting the needs of people like me. There are now many quality themes out that are web responsive and I love how they adapt to various screen sizes, all without using Flash.
I can't wait for the Adobe team to get up to speed in this respect.
Also, the vertical menu option is lame. Child pages should drop below the parent page category like any basic spry widget.
Sometimes I think if your team moved to New York, away from the beach and sunshine, you'd get these things done faster and better. Still, I'm a big fan, despite my biting remarks, so thanks for your fine work.
