Disappointing I have spent hundred of dollars in the past for Adobe products, I am kind of regretting that I did with such mediocre products. I used to love it, but between problems with audio and countless errors while trying to export while making an audition tape to be sent to Hollywood, I decided to just remove the program and never use it again for any of the video editing projects that I do. Good, but not ideal for laptops Premiere Elements is easy to get started with but challenges for a small business using include the fact that laptops which are what we most commonly use don't have the processor speed to utilize the program without it being time consuming. I also wish there was an option to render to Vimeo but also have an output file saved to the hard drive. The way it is, it is an either/or and each one is taking 7 hours to render. 20-May-2013

Close, but I'm keeping the cigar. Here's hoping for an update to fix a few issues the current release has. Most annoying is audio transitions - they always snap to the first clip's end meaning almost every one has to be moved in a second step. Also, using 1080P/60 footage at any rate, the transition length can not be set below the 1 sec. default. The software also gets a bit flaky after an hour or so of editing a 25 min. project. While it in theory supports 1080P/60 out of the box, I had to install a custom preset and I'm still not certain what my output options will be as it says the edit mode is 1080i. Otherwise, so far, so good. I've only done one quick'n'dirty project so far and am still a few days away from completing the current one so there are most likely lots of other things I'll find to like or complain about. But overall I'm very happy with PE11 and can live with the few things missing from the P-Pro version I used to use. (A very old one that only supported HDV footage.) 15-May-2013

An okay program It's a pretty decent program, but I think they should have mirrored Premiere Pro a bit more. Why don't they use the same workspace layout is a question I want answered. If anyone is used to using Premiere Pro, you'll have a bit of difficulty using it even on the expert settings. I don't understand why they had to completely change the layout of the elements program. Premiere Pro is a pretty intuitive piece of software. You didn't have to change it much - just add a few of those automatic settings buttons, and you're fine. The only Element of Premiere Pro they kept was the keyboard shortcuts. Everything else is pretty different. 14-May-2013
