A new component of Adobe Creative Suite® software, Adobe SpeedGrade CS6 offers a streamlined interface and the GPU-based Lumetri™ Deep Color Engine, giving you confidence in your color decisions. Easily load projects from Adobe Premiere® Pro software for grading and finishing. SpeedGrade CS6 software includes professionally designed presets and looks to help you get going quickly. Native .Look file support in Adobe After Effects® and Adobe Photoshop® software helps ensure visual consistency across your production pipeline.
SpeedGrade CS6 does not support 32-bit operating systems because the performance benefits of native 64-bit support make it the best choice for the demanding technical requirements of working with video, especially HD and higher resolution content. Leveraging 64-bit architecture allows Adobe to optimize the performance of SpeedGrade even further.
The SpeedGrade CS6 Lumetri Deep Color Engine is entirely GPU accelerated and will perform best on a system with at least 1GB of VRAM. The system requirements are recommended minimum configurations for real-time playback while grading. The more powerful your GPU, the better SpeedGrade CS6 will perform. Adobe recommends using an NVIDIA Quadro 4000 (Mac OS) or Quadro 4000, 5000, or 6000 (Windows®) graphics card. An additional benefit of choosing one of these NVIDIA cards is that they can also be used with a GPU that has the GPU-accelerated features of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, enhancing the performance of CS6 Production Premium and Master Collection.
The Lumetri Deep Color Engine is the 32-bit floating-point image processing technology at the heart of SpeedGrade. The nondestructive Lumetri Deep Color Engine offers maximum latitude for working with RAW and HDR footage, allowing you to pull details from your blacks and highlights that might otherwise be lost.
SpeedGrade CS6 supports Alexa, RED, Phantom and Weisscam, DPX, Cineon, QuickTime, TGA, TIFF, and OpenEXR.
The film-style filters in SpeedGrade CS6 mimic chemical processes that were formerly used in film labs to create stylized looks on celluloid. They include bleach bypass; a high-contrast, desaturated look; the retro look of classic two-strip or three-strip color film processing; and day-for-night.
SpeedGrade CS6 is available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
