Part of the Adobe Creative Cloud™, Adobe Story helps productions run smoothly from planning through post-production. Leverage rich metadata created in Adobe Story to integrate with Adobe Premiere® Pro software to streamline your post-production workflow.

Adobe Story is ideal for screenwriters, writing teams, first assistant directors, production managers, and editors who want a powerful, full-featured, collaborative preproduction solution that helps save time and money during production by generating schedules and production reports, and streamlines post-production by leveraging script metadata.

Adobe Story is available in two versions, each of which offers advantages over other scriptwriting software:

• Adobe Story Free is professional screenwriting software available free on Adobe.com, providing standard writing tools that automatically format your script as you type. Write for various types of projects using customizable script templates and multicolumn scripts. Import scripts written in Final Draft, Movie Magic Screenwriter, and Microsoft Word. Access your projects anywhere you have an Internet connection.

•Adobe Story CC Plus is a complete, collaborative scheduling and preproduction solution. Stay on time and on budget with additional features not available in Adobe Story Free. Generate up-to-date schedules and production reports from script metadata, including tags created automatically or manually. Work on your projects online as well as offline by using the Story CC Plus desktop application. Stay in sync with your team using collaboration features such as Share Projects.

To start using Adobe Story Free or Story CC Plus, log in with your Adobe ID on the Adobe Story login page (if you do not have an Adobe ID, you can create one there).

Because Adobe Story is a hosted service you can access your projects, scripts, schedules and all your important production data anywhere you have internet access. With Adobe Story you can share your projects with anyone you chose, everyone on the shared project will always have access to the most up-to-date version of projects including scripts, schedules and reports.

Adobe Story uses industry-standard best practices to ensure your screenplays and other documents remain secure and accessible only by you and the collaborators you specify. Use an FTP or SFTP server to create a secure backup of all your Adobe Story data.
