Output Options in Macromedia Breeze Presenter 5 – Part 3: SCORM Tracking

Overview
The LMS tracking options found in the Quiz Manager dialog box (see Figure 1) are very similar to the options available in previous versions of Breeze. However, Macromedia has modified the communication architecture to better support the SCORM standard, in general, and SCORM 2004. Breeze Presenter 5 now supports two-way content communication, meaning that it’s capable of sending and receiving information from a SCORM-compliant LMS. Previous versions of Breeze content only sent SCORM-formatted data to an LMS.

The following tracking options are available in Breeze Presenter 5:
- Breeze
- AICC
- SCORM
Note: This article is focused on SCORM tracking. Please visit the Developer Center for information on each of the other tracking mechanisms available in Breeze Presenter 5 and to learn how to extend the tracking mechanism to support your own proprietary tracking system. Also, regardless of the tracking option selected in the LMS section, the published content will still open and track with the Breeze LMS.
