Martin-Flickinger har över 20 års erfarenhet av att leda storskaliga globala IS-organisationer. Innan Martin-Flickinger kom till Adobe var hon CIO på VeriSign, där hon ansvarade för IT-tjänsterna på bolagets 60 kontor världen över. Dessförinnan var hon CIO på Network Associates, Inc. och McAfee Associates, Inc. Hon har också haft ett flertal chefsposter på Chevron Corporation, bl.a. som processkonsult åt Chevrons ledning.
Martin-Flickinger har en kandidatexamen i datavetenskap från Washington State University.
