Adobe acquires Amicima

Adobe is pleased to announce that it has acquired assets from Amicima, Inc. Amicima is a privately held corporation dedicated to developing improved Internet protocols for client-server and peer-to-peer networking.

The Amicima technologies and expertise acquired will support the development of Adobe’s products and solutions for knowledge workers. The addition of Amicima’s peer-to-peer technology will further expand the capabilities of the Adobe® Acrobat® software family for enabling knowledge workers to communicate and collaborate with confidence.
