I love designers. I love their style, their attitude, their sense of chaos and control, their wit, personality, sense of humor, use of irony. Even more than their creations, I love the way designers’ minds work—the way they solve problems.

No matter how simple the idea, there are layers of meaning and context beneath the surface. Perhaps that’s why I was so excited by the opportunity to interview John Maeda.
