Editing segment lines

A segment line looks like this:

segmacpiec0001.aas3293130814

A segment line consists of five columns:

The first column specifies the type of entry.
The second column tells which platform ( win or mac ) the piece can run on.
The third column gives the name of each segment on the HTTP server--including your four characters and four unique digits assigned by Authorware Web Packager.
The fourth column tells the starting point of each segment (in bytes) in relation to the beginning of the piece.
The fifth column gives the size of the segment.

The information you most likely want to change in the segment line is the file name.

To edit a segment line:

1 Double-click the line or select it and choose Edit Line from the Edit Menu. The Edit dialog box appears.
2 Change the information in the dialog box and then click OK. The changes you make appear in the map file.
