Issues
MP3 Audio files MP3 Audio files that change bit depth
or go from stereo to mono can cause the MP3 Xtra to mis-read
the length of the MP3 file.
Sound and Movie Icons - Because the Sound and Movie icons
are now branching icons themselves, they can no longer be
direct children of an Interaction, Decision, or Framework
icon. This supports the new media synchronization feature.
When you convert Authorware 5 files to Authorware 6, any Sound
or Movie icons that are direct children are grouped into a
map icon.
Memory Limits During File Creation - Authorware currently has a
limitation when trying to open a file on a system where the total
available memory exceeds 2 GB. Available memory is determined by adding
the total amount of free physical memory plus the minimum virtual memory
setting. These two values combined cannot exceed 2 GB. This is only on
systems that support file sizes in excess of 2 GB.
If you are currently experiencing this problem, a workaround is to
adjust your minimum virtual memory setting lower until the total
(minimum virtual memory + available physical memory) is less than 2 GB.
