Overview
Adobe Captivate lets you add SWF and GIF animations to your projects. You can insert out-of-the-box animations available in the <installation-folder>/Gallery folder. You can also create your own animation in Flash, save it as SWF, and use it in Adobe Captivate.
You can also animate a string of text using the default options in Adobe Captivate.
This tutorial explains how you can insert a SWF or a GIF animation, and a text animation in your project.
Procedure
To insert a SWF or a GIF animation, perform the following steps:
Open the Adobe Captivate project, and click Insert > Animation.

- To change the position of the animation, click on the animation and drag it to the required position.
To insert a text animation, perform the following steps:
- Open the Adobe Captivate project, and click Insert > Text Animation.
- In the Text Animation Properties dialog box, type the text and select the properties for the text.
- In the Property Inspector, select the required animation from the Effect list.
