Creating a project with blank slides

Overview

Blank slides are useful when you want to build the slides brick-by-brick. You can pick and choose the objects you want to place on the slide.Typically, you would create a project with blank slides when you do not have many common objects across the slides. You can assign the blank slides to a master slide at any point in time.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a project with a blank slide.

Procedure

  1. Click File > New Project > Blank Project, or click Blank Project on the Welcome Screen of Adobe Captivate.

  2. In the New Blank Project dialog box, do one of the following actions:
    • In the Select list, click a dimension for the project.
    • Specify the width and height for the project in the Width and Height boxes.
    • Click Customize to choose a saved custom size.
    • Click OK.

A blank slide appears in the Filmstrip and on Stage.

Summary

Create a project with blank slides to build a project by using a combination of Microsoft PPT slides, images, and recording of applications. After creating the project, you can add Adobe Captivate objects, audio, and video to the project.When you create a project with blank slide, a single blank slide appears in the project. You can later add more blank slides using the Insert > Blank Slide option.
