Overview
You can edit an audio clip in an Adobe Captivate project to:
- Cut, copy, or paste a specific portion of the audio file
- Insert silence
- Adjust volume
- Edit or remove background noise
- Modify the start and end time of the audio
This tutorial explains how to get started with editing an audio clip in your project.
Procedure
In the Filmstrip, click the slide that contains the audio that you want to edit.
Click Audio > Edit > Slide. The Slide Audio dialog box appears.

Tweak the audio clip in your Adobe Captivate projects to synchronize with the other objects on a slide or different slides in the project.
For enhanced audio editing, click the Edit Using SoundBooth option in the Audio edit dialog boxes, and edit the audio in Adobe SoundBooth. This option is available if you have installed Adobe eLearning Suite.
